BIRTHDAY POEM!

ANOTHER
DAY TO
LIVE….
It
is a little past Midnight,
And
I am all alone in my house!
My
Birthday just hit the corner,
Where
I will try to start my New Life in Moral!
But
at the age that I am starting at,
Many
have died and gone home!
But
the age that I am living at,
I
am here still at another home!
But
let my age surprise you!
And
let my age be known!
For
the age that I am living upon,
My
age needs to be told!
For
I almost died at an age,
Were
few have been known!
For
the age that I was dying on,
Was
only two years old!
Now
Fifty Years have pasted me on by,
And
Fifty is too old!
But
here I sit at Midnight,
Telling
my story to the old!
But
the young who are listening,
Will
one day your story be told?
For
as the older that we are getting,
One
day our story will not be told!
But
the age that I am living with,
I
wish I could tell more that will be told!
But
the older that I am getting,
Soon
my stories will not be told!
For
the older that I am getting,
One
day I will not be able to tell a tale!
About
how old that I am getting,
And
I am still able to tell my tales!
But
let me get older by writing,
And
let me get older by the way I do spell!
For
no one is perfect,
Even
if you are not living on a Hell!
For
the older you will be getting,
The
wiser your tales will be told!
And
you will know how to tell a story,
As
each word will be wrote!
And
as the older that I am getting,
The
more I want to tell a tale!
For
the tales that I am telling,
I
have no idea what to tell!
But
each tale that I am telling,
Each
tale will tell a tale!
How
to tell a story,
About
how you can tell a tale!
But
as the older that I am getting,
One
day I will not be able to tell a tale!
For
the older that I am getting,
One
day I will not be able to tell a tale!
But
the older that I am getting,
The
more I like to tell my tales!
How
I am able to get much older,
But
able to be able to tell my own tales!
Now
Midnight was my Birthday,
And
yes I am still around!
And
52 years later,
I
am still able to tell a tale about how I’m still around!
And
every tale that I am telling,
I
will be telling to the World!
For
the way that I am living,
I
am
able to tell my tale to the World!
So
as it might be my last Birthday,
I
do not fear another one not to come around!
For
I take each day that I am living,
To
only live this one day that comes around!
And
if I think about the tomorrow,
That
tomorrow might not come around!
So
I sit here on another Birthday,
Only
waiting for another day to come around!
So
each day that I am living,
The
older I do get!
And
the wiser I do become,
From
each tale that I do give!
And
as each tale will turn into a story,
About
the way I did live!
I
hope to see another day after this New Beginning,
When
I try to relive what I did miss….
